A few examples of the information in the survery: the average department size is 537 sworn and a motor unit on average of 11 officers. Nearly 69% of the officers are between the ages of 31-40 and perform stationary enforcement 31.20% of their time. Of the accidents reported 69.14% were slight injury and happened 34.56% of the time during the first hour of their shift. Surprisingly, 47.57% of the units do not do any monthly training.
